Running Calinsight for the first time
Step 1: Install and run Calinsight
- Download Calinsight from the App Store: App Store
- Open Calinsight by double-clicking its icon in the "Applications" folder.
Step 2: Permit the Calendar and Reminders access
Press OK button to allow the app, when dialog of permission to Calendars and Reminders will appear.
If you select the button in the dialog that Don't allow the app, display of calendar content or events, you will not be able to add a reminder. In that case, you will need to access the permission from System Preferences. Please check the page Calendar does not show all its data for details.
Step 3: Configure essential settings
Automatically starting Calinsight when you log in
It is useful to leave the settings of the automatic start-up, because it will automatically run Calinsight in the boot of the menu bar when you start the computer.

Step 4: Adding events and reminders
Let's try adding events and reminders
Adding existing events and reminders can be edited.
Step 5: Check off a Reminder
After complete a reminder, you can change it's status with one-click.
Step 6: Check Reminder Dashboard and Event Dashboard
The aggregate data of your past events or reminders from the Calendar app or Reminders app will appear in the Calinsight's Event/Reminder Dashboard after first running Calinsight.
